A Little More About You and Dreams

Last month I shared a ridiculous dream I had that involved a fight with my dad, a sermon cut short, and me screaming “I am part of a send machine!” as if that made any sense whatsoever.

Last night I had another vivid dream, this time I was getting fired by my boss after a screaming match only to find out a deadly virus was loose in our building and I had to bring my wife and I to safety.

Like my dream last month, I found myself yelling at someone – something I never do in real life. Also like my dream last month, my friend Tyler made a cameo appearance in this dream, getting in a fight with a mustachioed mad who appeared to be behind the plot of the deadly virus. I woke up from the dream at 2:30am and laid there wide awake for 10 minutes…afraid to go back to sleep.

Which brings me to two questions I have for you.

1. How often do you remember your dreams? Seems like a lot of my friends either remember them almost every night or rarely remember them when they wake up.

2. Have any crazy facts or interesting theories about dreams? Some people put a lot of weight into dreams. Other people, like my friend Becky growing up, used to try to convince me that dreams only lasted a second in real time, but that our brain stretched them out so they seemed as if they lasted 20-30 minutes (I never bought it).

What about you?
