Monday Soup

1 part broth, 1 part noodles, and 8 parts Gatorade…it’s Monday Soup!

+ Week one being self-employed was fantastic. It felt great to be productive all day long doing things I love to do. Ready for week 2!

+ Favorite new app these days is WunderlistIt’s a free app for the Mac and iOS that lets you easily create, manage, and share lists. I’ve been using it for grocery lists, to do lists, and all sorts of stuff. The interface is sharp and the functionality is great. Checking things off when you get them done is almost as satisfying as crossing them off a paper list, and it’s easy for Erica to create a grocery list on her phone and then share it with me so it shows up on mine. Using it every day and loving it.

+ Lots of thoughts on the NFL yesterday, but I think I’ll share them in a separate post.

+ My next book is currently with an editor. Hoping to have it ready by my birthday at the end of the month. More coming soon on this.

+ My buddy Clay Morgan has a book releasing tomorrow called Undead. I haven’t read it yet, but it sounds pretty great. Think “biblical stories of people being raised to life” + “current cultural zombie fascination”. Check out more about the book at the book’s website or get it directly from Amazon: Undead at Amazon.
