When they showed those clips of Buckner and Boone near the end of Game 4, my large smile was replaced with an enormous one. Because i realized that i wouldnt be seeing much more of them. And not only that, but they suddenly held almost no meaning for me.
What used to make me cringe, suddenly made me smile. It was all just wiped away.
That’s why this is so sweet. Not just for the feeling in that moment when you’ve finally won. But realizing how this changes everything.
