1 part broth, 1 part noodles, and 3 boxes of crushed Cheez-its…it’s Monday Soup!
+ Killer Tribes is less than 3 weeks away! Am I freaking out? No. Am I excited? Yes. Headed to Atlanta this week for a quick trip to do some recon work related to the conference, so I’m pretty stoked about that. Will be on the Ken Coleman show tomorrow night as well around 5:30pm to talk about the conference for a few minutes.
+ Speaking of Killer Tribes, I’ll be announcing some new speakers later today at the website. Stay tuned.
+ Not sure if I ever let y’all know how my second stand-up gig went, but it went great! I did 20 whole minutes of stand-up, which is ridiculous, and they even laughed a few times. Definitely want to start doing a little more of it once the conference is in the rear-view. More to come…
+ So, I was in Europe last week. What was I doing there? Well, a friend of mine (Chad Gibbs) is researching a book and is also a frequent flyer mile junkie, so he paid for my flight (as well as Tyler and Joe’s tickets as well). Was a lot of fun. If you want more details, check out my instagram page which has a bunch of pictures from the trip (like this one of me being stabbed to death by the 4th musketeer).
+ My friend Jeff Shinabarger just released a new book entitled, More or Less. I got a copy of it a few days ago, and I’m excited to dig into it. The basic premise is this, “what would happen if we created a culture in which we gave away whatever was more than enough for us?” Sounds great, right? Get your copy at Amazon.com or go to the amazon jungle and see if you can find it buried under a bush. Congrats on the release, Jeff!
+ Back in 2005 I wrote a blog post where I said that having a video camera on a cellphone was useless. Probably one of the dumbest calls I’ve ever made. You can read it here, it’s point #3 of this post.
+ So I’ve got a conference happening later this month…what are you looking forward to most of all in March? Let us know in the comments.
Have a great week everyone…
