Monday Soup
+ Anybody care about anything from the Oscars last night? I watched about half of it and can’t really say that I have an opinion on it.
+ It’s Catalyst West week, which means I’ll spend Thursday and Friday wishing I was out in Cali taking in the experience and hanging with friends. Some day I’ll get out there for it. Any of you going?
+ The crazy thing about the Dream Year program is how relentless it is. You’re in it for 1 year, so there’s no time to screw around and put your dream on hold because you don’t feel like putting the work in. As I continue to push myself defining the idea model for BlogRocket, it continues to change. Just 2 weeks ago I announced that I’d be relaunching it soon, but now I might push the launch back a month or so because some amazing new ideas and opportunities have popped up. As always, more to come soon.
+ Woke up around 4am on Sunday morning and knew immediately that it had happened again. Strep Throat. I swear I’ve had it 1-2 times a year for the past 8 years. Rest, fluids, and Netflix for me today.
+ Big thanks to Peter Pollock for earning his Grand Master WordPress Ninja belt last week. I had a minor coding emergency happening that I could not figure out, and he swooped in and took care of it in about 15 minutes. Thanks Peter!
+ New iPad 2 being debuted on Wednesday. Color me intrigued. For those of you who have owned an iPad for a while, what kind of device is it for you: a “nice to have”, a “something i don’t use as much as I thought I would”, or a “can’t live without”?
+ Finally, I leave you with this. I think I share this every year, and honestly it never gets old. Possibly my favorite video of all time for quotes like “…real graspy voice” and “…no adult is going to waste their time to doing that”. I give you again, Weiner Poopie.
