Give a warm welcome this morning to Rachel Held Evans, our 8th guest on the FreshPod.

Rachel’s first book, a spiritual memoir entitled Evolving in MonkeyTown, came out in July, and has been very well received. She is currently working on her second book, an immersion journalism project tentatively titled A Year of Bibical Womanhood, which will release in 2012.

Rachel and I talk about how her book proposals are longer than some novels, why I should be the one crafting her book titles, & why she never thought she would die as a kid. Hope you enjoy.

    i have read rachel’s book. by read, i mean listened to in audio form. it’s great.
