Monday Soup

1 part broth, 1 part noodles, and 28 parts Olympic pool water.

+ We went to Hershey Park the other day and had a blast. It was the first chance our kids have had to ride roller coasters and while they were a little nervous about it, they didn’t chicken out and ended up loving it. At one point after getting off The Wildcat Kylie looked at me and said, “the scarier the better!” Ummm, who is this girl and where is my daughter?

+ Speaking of my daughter, she turns 11 today!!! Happy Birthday Kylie!

+ My buddy Jeff Goins has a new book out this week called Wrecked: When A Broken World Slams into Your Comfortable LifeI’ll tell you more about it later in the week, but so excited for him.

+ Had a great launch week for the Killer Tribes Conference Audio! Over 100 folks downloaded the packages and the feedback has already been coming in about how inspiring the talks are. If you’re in a place where you need to build community around the things that move you – whether you’re a writer, a business, a ministry, or a musician – you need to go download these resources. Inspiration, encouragement, practical know-how, and so much more. Killer Tribes Conference Audio Packages.

+ Been talking to my buddy Shawn Smucker about teaming up on a project this Fall. Excited to see where this might be headed. More on that soon…

+ The Olympics have never been my favorite, but watching them with the kids has been a ton of fun. Always cool to watch people you love experience something cool for the first time. (But yeah, secretly I’m already getting excited about the NFL.)

+ If you’re looking for t-shirts for your church or ministry, check out one of the sponsors here: Our Shirts Don’t Suck. They are good peoples with a great product…love sending them business.

+ Other things I’ve been loving these days: my new MacBook Air, the Catalyst Conference in October (just got our plane tix!), hard boiled eggs, the Making it with Riki Lindhome podcast, and Tostitos Artisan Fire-Roasted Chipotle Chips.

Have a great week!
