I can’t believe it’s been over 2 months since I last wrote to you guys! Tomorrow is June so we’re almost halfway through the year. Let’s call this a First Half of 2014 Recap and get right to it because all the comedy clips from my show are online for you and one of them might even make you laugh.
First Half of 2014 Recap!!! (in 5 easy points)
#1 – I Made People Laugh For 35 Minutes!
I pulled it off! I did a 35-minute comedy show on March 22nd and it went pretty well. Over 60 friends and family came out and the feedback was very positive.
I’ll write more about stand-up later this year, but did you know that there are 7 clips from the show hidden on my website just for you guys? If you go to the BASIC Hub and put in the password (“2014”) you can watch all 7 clips.
#2 – I Redesigned My Site!
If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out. I’m trying to highlight my hosting, stand-up, and podcast more.

#3 – I Wrote Jokes for 150,000 People!
My friend Tripp Crosby hired me to be a part of his writing team for the Leadercast Event that happened a few weeks ago (the Atlanta event is simulcast all over the world to a lot of people.)
A handful of my jokes made it past the cut, and Tripp did a great job delivering the finished monologue. So exciting hearing laughs from your ideas, that never gets old.

#4 – I Made 17 Podcast Episodes!
The SchnozCast is going strong and I’m having a blast doing it. You can listen to past episodes on my site or through iTunes.
Guests for June will include Jon Acuff, Knox McCoy, and other people who haven’t died yet. Stay tuned.
#5 – Some Crap Was Crappy!
Sucked losing my biggest client, CrowdScribed, in April. Things are still up in the air, but it looks like I won’t be doing too much with them going forward unless a lot changes on their end.
I’ve picked up some work here and there, but I am starting to shift my focus to other ventures you will soon hear about.
