+ Spent 48 hours in Nashville this weekend at the Blissdom Women’s Blogging Conference. It was pretty great.
There were about 800 people there for the conference, and 750 of them were women. At the opening night party the guys flocked together like frightened zebras among hungry lions. The food was amazing the entire conference, and the hotel it was in, the Gaylord Opryland, might be the 9th wonder of the world. Good grief.
The Lorax had his own party, which was fun..
We were also treated to a concert featuring Joe Jonas opening for Rascal Flatts.
I braved the front two rows for the JoBro because I had nothing better to do. If I said I didn’t enjoy myself I’d be lying like a carpet.
I met a bunch of great people for the first time (Dan White, Alli Worthington, Keely Scott, Tsh Oxenreider, and others that skip my mind right now) and connected with some old friends as well (Lindsey Nobles, Jon Acuff, Jeff Goins, Alece Ronzino, Matthew Paul Turner, and others that skip my mind right now).
The best part about a conference is ALWAYS the connections. Make no mistake about that. That’s why going to a women’s blogging conference was worth it for me. Well, that and Joe Jonas.
