A week ago today the BlogRocket Community emerged from the birthing canal of my brain and into the world. (wow, that might be the most disgusting sentence I’ve ever written on this blog.)
I had no idea what to expect, but I have been blown away by the quality of people that have joined and the amazing interactions that have already happened in the first week. Want some stats? No? Too bad.
As of this morning the forum has 29 Members who have contributed 678 posts on 80 different topics.
What kind of stuff are we talking about? Here’s a few snapshots:
There’s the BlogTalk Board for general bloggy discussion
There’s the Shameless Self-Promotion Board, where it’s all about YOU.
and of course, there’s the Crap! I need Help Board
(because we all need a little help sometimes)

What I’m realizing more and more is that being involved in community is essential to being a successful blogger.
That doesn’t mean that everyone should join the BlogRocket community, of course. There’s plenty of places and ways to find community online.
But just one week in, I can already see the immense value that this community is providing some of these amazing bloggers, and I’m so honored to help facilitate that.
Thinking about joining us? We’d love to have you. If you’re willing to share your experience/expertise with some good peoples and want to learn a few things along the way, you’d be a perfect fit.
Here’s the link for more info and to sign up: Sign Up / More Info on the BlogRocket Community.
(and the best part is, I’ve got some fantastic things in store for community members that I haven’t even begun to roll out yet. This is going to be a really fun ride, hope you can join us!)
