ends and odds

  • a new red iPod is going to be unveiled soon, with $10 from each sale going to an AIDS charity.
  • this is THE story to read regarding the passing of Cory Lidle, who crashed his plane into a NYC building on Wednesday.
  • If you’re in Nashville on Monday, make sure you say hi to me. I’ll be the guy with the smile on his face.
  • LOST was amazing last night. Great episode and all, but the Red Sox scene was the best.thing.ever.
  • havent played poker in a while…i really oughta do that soon.
  • 8-6 on NFL picks last week, good enough to stay in first place in my pool…this can’t last much longer.
  • i gotta grab a book for my flights next week…i’ll run to Borders tomorrow and find something.
  • refrigerator is broken…hopefully getting fixed today…rotten milk is a weapon of mass destruction.
  • i saw a car accident today, right in front of me. very low-speed, but i saw it coming 5 seconds before it happened. I knew i couldn’t do anything about it, so i just sat and watched the cars collide. then i felt bad for them as i went about my day.
  • spent the rest of my bday money today on a few odds and ends for my “studio”. i’m having fun learning the recording thing with garageband and my new audio interface. The recordings i made last night were terrible, but you gotta start somewhere, right?
  • looks like Jordan is getting an apartment this week. i’m glad that he’s moving out in the 1-month window i gave him. Not because i want him out, i mean he’s the best live-in house guest you could have, but i’m happy because he’s sticking to what he agreed to, and that’s a good thing.
  • last night erica put vinegar in my cup of water. arg. for years it’s been a joke between us that whenever i pick up a cup of water to drink, i always ask her if it’s vinegar, because i hate vinegar and if it was vinegar i wouldnt be able to tell by looking. well, i took a big swig, instantly thought it had lemon juice in it, then realized it was vinegar, and spit it all out into the sink. i havent seen her laugh that hard in a while. she will pay, oh yes, she will pay.
