Hey Eric,

Thanks for the comment. I know there's some good resources at AIG and also at the Institute for Creation Research. I've looked through a lot of their stuff and I think they do a great job.

I guess it all comes down to how you define "reach". For me, I'm basically saying that anything that takes a bit of faith to believe is a reach, and I think it takes some faith to believe in a literal interpretation of biblical creation. While there is a lot of evidence that pokes holes in evolution, points to intelligent design, and points to a catastrophe like the flood, it's still something that takes faith believing. At least, it does for me.

I think for a lot people, taking the Bible as God's word is a reach. It takes faith that they may or may not have. That doesn't make it any more or less true of course. Thankfully the truth isn't contingent on us. But yeah, maybe you're in a place where you are 100% sure of what you believe and there is little doubt there about anything in Genesis (or the rest of the Bible). Not sure that I can say that I'm there, if I'm honest.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond!

You said, "a bit of a reach." The entire truth of God is founded in the first eleven chapters of Genesis. "Reaching" is the last thing any of us have to do ... dig around Answers in Genesis for any and all questions you or anyone else may have: http://www.answersingenesis.org/

yeah, sort of. it just so happens to be the shortest word, so it gets the biggest font. but it's at the top because it's the most important part of the site. and if "contact" was the shortest word, i probably would have done it differently.

(did you notice i even gave you some link love in the "about" section?)

I like what you did, keeping the width of the text on the right the same, but that makes your blog seem more important than everything else. Is that what you want?
