out of every 50 writers that apply to be a freelance writer at Suite 101, 40 are rejected. at least that’s what they told me when they hired me, that i was one of a lucky 20%. I’m cool with that.
Why am I writing for Suite 101? Why not, I say? The quota of what i need to produce is pretty light, and I could use some more writing experience. I’ll be writing mostly about sports I think, probably about football more when the NFL starts showing up on the radar.
Will I get paid for it? Yeah, a little bit. Mostly based on page views and ad clicks and such. So that’s a good thing too.
I’ve only written one article so far. You can read it here. Just a recap of the Celtics amazing comeback in Game 6 last week. Better stuff is yet to come

I got tickets for Erica and I to go see Coldplay on June 29th, our first “big” concert experience if you don’t count U23D (which I don’t). Unfortunately for us, Coldplay had to cancel the date due to “production issues”. I’d cry foul and say that Chris Martin was just too lazy to come over to the states, but Coldplay will be performing 2 days earlier in NYC on the Today Show, so I guess they’re not lying to cover up their laziness.
