You’ve been waiting all weekend for this. Here’s the answers to the fifth and final Guess the CD Name Contest.

No one was anywhere close, but I appreciated all the attention brought to the collars of those tops. Hideous.

Here’s the actual name…

I told you that this CD name included the word “Inspiration”.

I liked Jimmy’s idea: “Inspiration Lacking”

here’s the actual name, which actually includes the word “humor”…

Finally, I told you that this CD name included the word “Gonna”.

Alex almost nailed it with “Gonna Sing for Jesus”

and a couple of you noticed my reflection in the cellophane…kinda creepy

here’s the actual name…

I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my fill of terrible looking CD covers.

Maybe we’ll bring this back some time next year…r even better, you guys should submit your own.

Monday morning…Holiday week…Here’s last week’s CD name answers to get you into the swing of things.

I told you that this CD name included to word “News”.

No one got it exactly, but 7 of the 12 guesses correctly figured out that the news was “good news”.

Here’s the actual name…

I told you that this CD name included the word “Rolled”.

Lots of comments came in on the shirts…and with good reason. They’re awful.

Crystal came awfully close with “The Stone Was Rolled Away”

She should have gone Jeopardy! on it and answered in the form of a question.

here’s the actual name…

Finally, I told you that this CD name included the word “money”.

Lance almost nailed it with “Sun Ray of Hope – Twins and a 12 string = MONEY!!”

(okay, not really)

here’s the actual name…

Thanks for playing along everyone!

We’ll take the week off from Guess the CD Names this week, and then return with the last 2 installments.

(by the way, I’m thinking of buying a few of these and giving them away as prizes.)

I’ll provide you with one word from the actual title of the CD, and you and your creativity can come up with the rest of the title.

Here we go…

The name of this album by this group of youngsters includes the word:

News

Your favorite 6-man quartet is back with an album that includes the word:

Rolled

and finally…

The name of the album by this trio includes the following word:

Money

Let’s see how close you can come…or how creative you can be.

In case you missed them, here was Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.

Because you need something to get you going on a Monday morning, here’s the CD names from last week’s quiz.

I told you that this CD name included to word “lonesome”.

No one came close, but Erin’s guess of

“Gets a Might Lonesome in the Tanning Bed” felt right.

Here’s the actual name…

I told you that this CD name included the word “laying”.

No one came the remotely close, but jennybek made me laugh with her slightly mean title :

“Laying Aside our hope of Procreation”

I also concur with David C. that I don’t know how a quartet can have 6 people.

As for what they were laying, here you go…

Finally, I told you that this CD name included the word “choices”.

This one was actually a trick question because I gave you the answer. It’s a one-word title.

And while we’re here, I need to ask the question…

How bad did the photo shoot for this album go that they had to choose this one for the cover?

“Hey John, we’ve got a great shot for the cover. You’re looking at a different camera and you’re holding the guitar so awkwardly, we’re not even sure you know how to play it. It’s fantastic!”

Thanks for playing along everyone!

3 new CDs coming on Friday.
