I hope to post more faith-related stuff (like Monday’s Mel Gibson post) going forward, and it got me wondering where you all are coming from.

So today’s “More About You” is about the if and where for you and church.

If you’re someone who DOES NOT regularly attend a church, here’s what I”d like to know…

1. How long has it been since you were a regular attender (if at all)?

2. What church was it that you used to attend (if at all)?

If you’re someone who DOES regularly attend a church, let us know…

1. What church you go to (you can throw a denomination in there if it’s not obvious).

2. Ballpark estimate on how small/big it is. (75 people? 300? 800? 5000?)

I know I don’t have to remind y’all to keep things civil and respectful, so yeah…

let us know if and where you go…and thanks for sharing.

I’ll go first second.

    1. I attend Fourth Avenue Bible Church (denomination = Mennonite Brethren) in Niverville, Manitoba, Canada.

    2. Approx. 100 weekly attendees.

  2. Chuck says:

It’s been about a year since we “regularly” attended anywhere. We moved from KY, where I attended seminary, back up to upstate NY intending to plant a church out of a student ministry. The student ministry didn’t really pan out, and I will be moving to Toronto next month. I’m a part of the Anglican Mission in the Americas.

  3. Paula says:

I attend Inspire Church in Sydney, Aust. We’re an AOG (Assemblies of God) Church – our Senior Pastor is actually the State President. (We’re all VERY proud of him!)

We have around 5000 members, and currently we meet in 3 locations on a Sunday. Between our 3 locations we have 7 services on a weekend.

  4. Jessica J. says:

I attend Rock Harbor in Costa Mesa, California. It is non-denominational I guess? I would estimate about 5,000, but I really don’t know for sure. We now have three campuses, and a couple church plants too. Despite it’s size, it feels like family. A great group of people trying to live out the gospel together. :)

  5. Annie says:

Fellowship Bible Church, non denomination, (or, more acurately, multidenomination)

About 6,000 attendees on our campus- there are three total campuses, about 9,000 total.

  6. Jimmy says:

I go to St Marys Church (Church of England, ie anglican) in Reigate, UK.
    Attendance? probably 250 ish

  7. Zach says:

    Redeemer (PCA), Winston-Salem, NC

I attend a Sunday evening service with probably 150 or so in attendance.

  8. Dusty says:

I attend Fellowship Bible Church in Searcy, AR. (Non-Denominational).

Depending on the time of year, I’d say we average between 500 to 600. That’s when school is in and a lot of students from the local college are in town.

  9. Saskia says:

I attend a Dutch Reformed Church here in the Netherlands (just to confuse ya’ll, Dutch Reformed here isn’t really like Dutch Reformed in the US, even if it does have the same roots). We’re a small protestant church (around 100-150 people any given Sunday), mostly because this city is liberal and secular, and also because we’re in the catholic part of the country here.

  10. Kim says:

New Life Church (Assembly of God)in Poland, OH

    Usually about 500 in attendance.

  11. Cynthia Lopez says:

    1. Metro Life Church in Miami (Doral) FL.

    2. I’d guess around 700-800 people thoughout all 3 weekend services.

  12. Jordan says:

Last time I was attending church regularly was in 2006 at Freedom Life.

  13. Joel says:

Knightdale United Methodist Church in Knightdale N.C. Weekly attendance 150-200

  14. Kim S. says:

I attend Hope Assembly of God in Charleston, SC.
    We probably have about 100-150.

  15. Thomas says:

I attend New Community Covenant Church in Chicago, IL. I’d say it’s probably about 200-300 people, but I might have just made that up.

  16. @bbgoad says:

I attend Citylife Church of Boston (PCA)
The 2pm service draws about 40 people in summer (college city) and 100+ during academic year, average among 3 services 500/Sunday

  17. Emily says:

Like the url says, The Church of God.
At my local church, we run about 68 in Sunday Worship.
In the high 30s for midweek services.
Feel free to check out our website! :)

  18. Jessica says:

Christ’s Church, member of the Reformed Church in America (http://www.rca.org) We average between 150 and 250 on a Sunday depending on if it’s the summer or not.
