I want to do something a little bit different on the blog today, if that’s okay with you.
A lot of you fine folks who read this blog have great blogs of your own, and I thought it would be fun for you guys to share those blogs with the rest of us. Personally, I know I’ve got a few of your blogs in my feed reader, but there’s a whole bunch I’ve never checked out before.
So in the comments section, tell us your name, where you live, your blog URL, and a brief description of what you try to do there.
It should look something like this…
Bryan Allain from Intercourse, PA
www.bryanallain.com
I try to write daily with humorous thoughts on life, faith, parenting, sports, and pop culture.
If you don’t have a blog, leave a comment anyway and tell us all about a blog you love that we should be reading. Always fun to see where people are reading from.
And after you leave a comment, take a few minutes to check out some of the blogs people have posted. You never know, you might be about to discover your new favorite blog.
No guilt and no shame. Just an opportunity for blatant self-promotion.

I just tried to post my comment, and it said my post has been deleted by the administrator. I apologize if I ever left anything inappropriate on this blog to cause you to automatically delete my post upon submission.
really? try again Helen. hopefully i won't have an issue with folks trying to post links online. that would be a big FAIL sandwich.
Glynn Young from St. Louis MO
http://faithfictionfriends.blogspot.com
I write about faith in Culture, work and life, with a few poems thrown in along the way.
also deleted. is there a hidden agenda here?
So you've read "Trust Agents" too huh? Seriously, though, this is a great idea. I may have to steal it (with credit, of course!) Here's my blatant self-promotion:

When I write, I talk about funny stuff, my kid, law school, and things that are funny to me (which often are different from the ACTUAL funny things.)
thanks Bryan!
Christina Meyer in Naples, FL

I try to minister to 20 and 30 something Christians who are growing in their faith. I also try to be non-conventional and touch on topics people in my community are discussing but are not being addressed publicly yet.

Unplugged & Unwritten
Yeah, I don't have a blog, mainly because I haven't stumbled onto something I'm passionate about that I feel others would also be interested in.
I do enjoy a lot of great financial advice from http://www.getrichslowly.org and freebies from http://www.heyitsfree.net.
Just getting started blogging, only a couple of posts so far. I admire those of you that have the free flow of ideas and can blog daily. I'm still trying to get past the mode of treating a post like a well thought out client deliverable.

My focus is on servant leadership, the philosophy that "You cannot be a leader, and ask other people to follow you, unless you know how to follow, too."
Katie, Atlanta, GA

I don't try to do anything there, which is probably a problem, but people don't seem to mind. I post about my life, TV (which is kind of my job), Music, and anything else random that comes up.
Chris, from Houston, TX

We (myself, Stephanie Woodward, and The Rob Hays) write about music that we like. Mostly obscure bands that don't have 100 friends on MySpace, but are good enough to be on the New Moon soundtrack.
Jennifer, West Point, VA

Ours is a shared blog of random and often goofy posts. My best friend Pam & I share the posting and started our lowly blog as a gift to each other. Good thing too, since I have moved away, and it's another way to stay up to date on each other's lives.

I am a full time IT Analyst and part-time worship leader/musician. I try to post at least three times per week, writing about life, faith, and technology (mostly). I get random sometimes as well. I’m pretty new to blogging (although I’ve been reading them for several years now).
Everett Bracken, Atlanta, GA

When I am not chauffeuring important celebrities from Intercourse, PA around, I blog about what I think leads to a satisfying life. Everyday I include something to make people LAUGH, THINK, TRANSFORM, or RELATE in ways that help us be more satisfied in life.
Thanks for doing this Bryan. BTW, I also recommend Trust Agents. Great book for bloggers to read.

I don't have a specific focus for my blog right now. I am trying to drum up some more readership and start to do something intentional with it. Right now I just write up my thoughts on Theology, Books, Movies, Pop Culture, Internet Memes, Music, Christian Culture, etc, because I deactivated my Facebook account a while back.
It said my comment was deleted by the administrator. I took out the link to my blog, you should just be able to click my name and get to it.
Bro, I love you and love your blog.
Please reconsider the title of this posting. While "pimp" has been transformed by modern culture to a meaning beyond the original, the fact that there are thousands of people being enslaved by "pimps" is heartbreaking.
Love what you're doing… thanks for considering this.
thanks for your thoughts chuck, and thanks for your kind words about the blog. like you said, the word "pimp" has kinda been redefined in our culture, so that's why i didn't have a problem using it, since everyone knows the context.
but i agree that the problem of human trafficking and slavery is a terrible one. I support the work that the International Justice Mission, Love 146, and other organizations like them are doing. If folks don't know the stats or the amazing things these organizations are doing, please click the links and check them out.

I just started this blog for a young adult Sunday School class I've started teaching. There are only a couple posts, but over the next few months I'll be exploring different philosophical paradigms and how they relate to popular Christian thought, church group think, and tough questions about life. And I'll try to mix in some fun.
Bryan – Thanks for not approving ALL of them. That would have made me seem obesessive…

I blog primarily to get thoughts out of my head. Random stuff, events, and the like. You'll have to click my name if you want to see it, though, because the link in the comment won't work. But that's ok. I'm trying not to take it personally, Bryan.
