My lessons from the elderly?

- If you're not interested in a conversation, go ahead and take out your hearing aid.

- Rotary phones work just as well as those fancy cell phones.

- No need to filter. Go ahead and say anything that pops into your head. Doesn't matter if it's appropriate, offensive, or relevant to the conversation. Who knows how much time you have left to make your opinions known?

Is that just my grandparents???

The last time I put on a belt without pants or underwear... well, it didn't end well.

Other lessons I've learned from the elderly are:

a.) There's no shame in playing golf from the whites or yellows. We're never going drive the ball as far as Tiger, so you might as well give yourself a 5-iron (or less) in than trying to hit that 3-iron you know you can never hit.

b.) Subtle or inside jokes are so much funnier than crude or overtly obvious jokes.

c.) Climate Change: Evolution's way of making life so much easier by eroding the earth to prevent walking uphill both ways

have you ever seen one of those REALLY old people that keep sticking their tongue out and opening and closing their mouths as if they were chewing on a bunch of grass or something. might be the grossest thing but so many of them do it, and you can't look away.

i'm with Tyler on the green labeled cheez-its, (somehow green has been designated as the color to entice the health conscious. from cheeze-its to wheat things to wheatables, you see a green stripe, you know you're getting 30% less saturated fats). as far as old people... yuck.

You may consider me a blasphemer for saying this, but I prefer Reduced Fat Cheez-Its. As a matter of fact, I'm typing this with one hand because my other is elbow deep in a box. They're crispier, and there's a better chance they'll be burnt (there's no better taste).
