I probably should have mentioned this in my bio post a few days ago, but I am a crazy fan of LOST. Best show on TV? Of course. Best show ever? Maybe. (We’ll see how these next 2 seasons unravel.)
I’ve been kicking around the idea of posting about LOST the day after a new episode airs in order to generate some discussion on it, but I wanted to see what you all thought of that. How many of you watch LOST?
How many of you don’t watch it and are sick of hearing about it?
One thing I should say up front though…I HATE spoilers. I avoid them at all costs. I don’t even watch LOST commercials on TV, or watch the “Next Week on LOST” clip because the writers and producers don’t have control over what goes into them. I like to read LOST theories and I’ll catch every podcast and video that Damon Lindelof and Cartlon Cuse (the show’s producers) put out. But I don’t want people with inside info to spoil the show for me.
(Speaking of Damon and Cartlon, did you know that they’ve been releasing weekly videos called “Dharma Special Access” videos over the past month. You can click here for Week 1, and then you can find all 7 weeks if you click around Youtube. The most recent video features a look into the Writer’s Room, which is pretty dope. )
So yeah, if you’ve got an opinion on the idea of me posting every week about LOST, share it in the comments. (and vote in the new sidebar poll).
Namaste!
*Now that I think of it, a couple years ago I wrote up a little article on why I love LOST, even comparing the writers of the show to God. To see how I did that in an unblasphemous way, you can click here.

I’m kind of happy that I didn’t get into it at the beginning, because it’s obviously such a riveting show, I know I wouldn’t be able to leave it alone. But the people who are riveted seem to be mildly frustrated all the time. Is this a misperception? Is anything ever resolved on the show, or is it continually more and more baffling?
Kelly, I think that’s a misconception. The writers have answered many big questions in the show. But then again they’ve added more as well. The thing is, the show has a definite end date now. Just season and the next and that’s it. So fans are more tolerant of the unanswered questions because they now the end is in sight.
We used to be devoted watchers but then we missed a whole season when Adriene was pregnant and now I can’t make heads or tails of anything. I haven’t had time to sit down and watch the whole season that we missed so I just gave up. Now I’m falling further and further behind.
Good show, Lisa and I have watched it from the very first episode. I was a little frustrated that the show seemed to get a little weird through Season 3. I’ve still been watching it though and have mixed feelings for this next season.
I personally wished JJ Abrams would have limited the show production to 3 or 4 seasons rather than stretching it out so far. I was a JJ Abrams fan with ALIAS too and he did the same thing. The first 2 or 3 seasons were great but it got a little weird after that. I hope all the loose ends get tied up in LOST soon.
I’m your “Nope, not interested.”
add me to the don’t watch it and are sick of hearing about it list.
We have to go back Kate, WE HAVE TO GO BACK!
Enough said.

Ken and I sit riveted and then when the black screen shows and the last “bong” sounds at the end of each show, our mouths are usually wide open like “no way!”
We are big fans…since day 1…and I love spoilers cause I just gotta know.

I think that you should def write after every show.. then I would not only read your blog 3x a day but comment more!
I’ll probably skip the LOST posts, but it’s your site and you should do whatever you want.
definitely my favorite show
do it, just do it! I’m a fellow junkie!
B,
Some guys I know from college put together a money vid on addiction to Lost. In case you haven’t seen it, it’s worth watching.
