My name is Sarah. When I was little, it was Sarah Ruth. Then I turned 5 and put the kibbosh on that. You don’t know me at all, but I love your blog.:)

About 4 years ago, I saw one of my favorite UNC basketball players at Outback. When he left, he forgot his leftover chicken wings. They’re still in my freezer.

My last car was named Small Freddie, and the current one is Ramses.

My biggest pet peeve is children calling adults by their title and first name (i.e., “Miss Sarah” and “Mr. Bryan”)

I was born on 01-23 at 4:56 in ‘78. That’s 012345678.

@david – i’ve never got the skittles separation thing (or M&Ms for that matter…though I never eat them thanks to the chocolate-migraine thing). what’s better, btw, skittles or starburst?

@geof – you not only were reading last year, youve been reading every year since i started blogging. in fact, there’s probably been times the only reason i’ve kept blogging was because of you, so thanks.

@matt – i never had the grade school teacher crush, but i have a bunch of friends who did.

#1 I had a bit part in a independent film shot in Tulsa in 2001. I received a paycheck, but I never found out the name of the film so I have never been able to find out if was ever finished or is available to watch.

#2 I had a crush on my second grade teacher so I voluntarily made a documentary about bridges and also volunteered to give a presentation to the class about my family’s spring break trip to Colonial Williamsburg. She liked both, but it wasn’t enough to stop her from getting married before the school year was out. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t win me too many second grade fans.

#3 I still know – word for word – the song my character (Cyrus B. Snake) sang in my fifth grade production of “Pinnochio, Don’t Smoke That Cigarette.”

#4 I’m not good at following directions.

Christine, we were bummed that we didn’t get to see you for breakfast. Especially since Bek had said you had something to say to me about my blog. (I was envisioning you chastising me and telling me what a waste of time it was and how I should instead write stories about the virtues of Word of Life Bible Institute). I Hope everything is alright with the car…and that we can enjoy some bagels together at some point in the future. thanks for babysitting me 25 years ago, I’m sure I was a joy to watch.
