Sometimes when Erica pours a bowl of cereal and turns around to grab the milk, I move her bowl to a completely different place to see if she’ll notice. Or sometimes I hide it. Or sometimes I hide something in it like a pen or some rat poison. I like to think I’m sneaky with those sorts of things. (and yes, I’m kidding about the rat poison.)
Yesterday I had an idea. I could show you all just how sneaky I can be. Didn’t quite go down as planned.

I’m cracking up…smart kids.
haha. so close.
NOW erica makes chili…
it’s GOOD chili too!
Oh my word. REALLY?! REally Bryan? You step this up and I thought Kylie was gonna turn around or something THEN you’d add something. Erica is a very kind women.
Also, LYING to your kids?! “I DID NOT.”
Yeah, when you watch the video it makes me look very inept at being sneaky. Problem was, i was so concerned with Erica’s back being turned that I didn’t even notice Kylie watching me. Next time I’ll divert ALL their attention.
as for the lying, i’m careful with my credibility around them. they know when I’m joking and when I’m not…usually…but I’m always careful about that…
Jason Bourne will strike again!
Ruining your wife’s cooking….Nice play!
yeah aren’t you going to end up eating that, your ruining your own supper
I think Jason Bourne would let people see him do it, but then just take out everyone in the room. Thanks for not doing that to your family and posting it on the internet.
@jordan – that’s why i only put a little salt in. you can’t really ruin anything by adding a little salt. except maybe a bowl of apple jacks.
@david – good call!
Way to lie to your kids about something they saw you do right in front of them!
That was a little more ‘Get Smart’ than Jason Bourne.
I love that you shared it all the same!
