Without question, Astrophysicist Gerard Fasel has to be the freakiest looking guy on TV right now, right?
I mean, I’m not trying to be mean or anything, but Sharp goes super up-close on this dude for a reason in their new Aquos ads. He’s got a weird accent, long white hair, and eyes as blue as ink. And TBS is running this ad like it’s their job during post-season baseball (along with Frank TV and the DirecTV Poltergeist knockoff).
Please leave me alone Gerard, and go back to you astrophycisisting. And tell Sharp that I’m not going to buy one of their TVs because of you. In fact, the more I look at your up close mug, the more I want to buy Panasonic.

Why the fascination? maybe it bugs you that he’s super smart AND on tv.
Andrea, I’m very happy for Mr. Fasel that he is both super-smart and on TV as you said. I just got tired of seeing close-ups of his face because they were running those commercials so often.

he is my neighbor and close friend. he is a professor at pepperdine and often scares me by how smart he is. also, the hair is not always that weird. hahaha
