I don't know that a 1080p set is really worth it. 720p seems to be where most everything is settling these days. You might also hold off on TiVo and DirecTV getting back together for an HD box. Are they funny? Sure. Are they hip? I guess. but I've used the products. The Mac ads aren't what sold me on the macs. And no amount of hip microsoft ads will ever make me go back to windows.
