		<description>hey bryan. i loved this post. everything about it is so innocent and what a cool way to hear what kids think about life. and how parker felt like he maybe didnt want to tell you about the candyland thing but then he decided it would be a good choice. he had to think about it a while. so precious.</description>

		<description>ron, thanks for the kind words. it means alot coming from a yankee fan. as tough as it can be to wade through the waters of those discussions, it&#039;s something that you gotta do. and in the end you want to do it, it&#039;s just not easy. glad you talked to your daughter as well, it&#039;s something we would definitely do well to encourage each other about.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s a very big thing when a kid owns his own sin, even if it&#039;s cute like cheating at candyland.  Recognizing the wrong and admitting it is huge.

We got to spend some time talking with our daughter about heaven and hell back in August 2005 when a 19 year old friend was killed in the war in Iraq.  I wasn&#039;t sure how much of it she could understand (she had just turned 5), but now I see how much of it she really did grasp.

We need more dads sitting down and talking with their kids like this.  You&#039;re a good man, sir (even if you are a Red Sox fan).</description>
