+ I’ve got two friends with new e-Books out and both will make you laugh.

::: Tyler Tarver’s “Letters to Famous People” is super long (like 133 pages or something?) but it’s long in a good way. There’s tons of short letters to people and many references to LOST, which makes me happy. I think it’s $5, which is crazy because it will give you way more enjoyment than buying two bags of Doritos at Walmart.

::: Kevin Haggerty’s “An Idiot’s Guide to the Galaxy” made me laugh a bunch. Don’t let the title mislead you, it’s more about idiots than it is about galaxies. I guarantee you’ll chuckle and nod approvingly at least 6.5 times while reading this book. Rumor has it he is giving it away for free by joining his email list.

+ The STORY 2012 website is live and holy crap is it amazing. Is it possible to put entire websites onto Pinterest? If so I imagine people will be pinning this thing like their lives depend on it. If Ben Arment keeps raising the bar like this he’s going to hit a ceiling sooner rather than later. Seriously, check it out. (and register! I was there last year and walked away incredibly inspired).

+ I’m cheering for the Bruins during the hockey playoffs, but I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed that Pens-Flyers game yesterday. The goals, the fighting, the action…all of it was riveting. I remember watching hockey as a kid and it seemed like there was an icing call every 45 seconds. Not sure how they changed the game, but it’s a much better product now in HD than it was back then watching on WSBK-TV Boston Channel 38 on our little black and white TV.

+ For anyone who’s got an extra million lying around, here’s a poker tourney where the buy-in (not the prize, the BUY-IN) is a 1 followed by 6 zeroes. Part of the proceeds go to charity, and heck yes I would watch the final table if it were televised.

+ Sorry for another sports story, but good grief. The Red Sox win three in a row with a chance to sweep the Rays in 4 games this morning (11am Patriot’s Day start) and new manager Bobby Valentine throws Youkilis under the bus questioning his commitment to the game? I don’t get it. I only hope he said something to Youk before making the statement publicly, but even then, why would you do that? (Speaking of Patriot’s Day…hot day in the Northeast for the Boston Marathon. As if running 26.2 isn’t torture enough.)

+ Really enjoying AWAKE on NBC. Was happy to see it added some viewers in the most recent TV ratings…hoping it’s enough to earn the show more time. Check it out on Hulu if you haven’t seen it yet. The pilot is great, but give it 3-4 episodes to hook you.

Hope your week is fantastic! See you on the flip side.
