Literally, the first 5 things at the top of my brain…
1. My friend Julie is hosting a virtual 5K to help friends of hers who are looking to adopt. Their story is touching, and if you’ve got a heart for cancer survivors who want to be parents but can no longer have their own kids, you may feel compelled to help. You can read more about Cathy and Matt here. And here’s the details on how you can help my running your own 5K on July 6 or 7.
2.We’re 10 days away from the next round of Apple announcements! Excited to see what they unveil at the WWDC Keynote on the 11th. I’m hoping for thinner, faster MacBook Pros and a glimpse at the iPhone 5 which will hopefully be available in September.
3. Derek Webb’s new project, Sola-Mi, launches on Tuesday. I don’t know much about it except that it’s a new concept band he’s formed with Latifah Phillips and former Caedmon’s Call bandmate (and exceptional producer) Josh Moore. Their debut album, the official motion picture soundtrack for Solomon Mente’s flim, NEXUS, is set to release at 12:01am CST, June 5.
